Youth Rally

We had a Youth United event this morning in the township of Soweto. It went really well after we got started. It took a while for people to filter in, but we ended up with around 100 kids, which was pretty exciting. We were hoping for more because we went and advertised at 4 different high schools on Thursday. We probably talked to around 1,000 kids, so we had hoped to have around 300 or so come out today, but it's all good. As we were getting started, the power went out, so our new sound system really didn't get much of a test. We went on without the power, so the music group we had come in actually did an acapella performance. I spoke today about making choices and called the youth the commitments to abstinence and to living for Christ. I don't know the exact numbers right now, but a number of people responded with commitments to both. God was definitely at work today and it was fun to be a part of it. However, I don't feel like I've had a break in about the past two weeks, so if you don't hear from me for a couple of days again, know it's because I'm taking it easy. Thanks for all of your prayers.
